Civil services coach-turned-politician Avadh Ojha of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) lost his electoral debut in Delhi’s Patparganj assembly constituency.

He was defeated by BJP’s Ravindra Singh Negi, who won by 28,072 votes, while Congress candidate Anil Kumar received 16,549 votes.

Ojha was nominated for the seat after former MLA Manish Sisodia moved to Jangpura, with Sisodia praising Ojha’s significant contributions to education.
