Paralympic Gold Medallist Navdeep Singh Makes Extra Commitment After Winning the Arjuna Award

Paralympic gold medalist Navdeep Singh expressed his heartfelt gratitude after receiving the esteemed Arjuna Award on Friday, dedicating this honor to his family and coach. The award, recognizing his exceptional achievements in Sports and Games 2024, was presented to him by President Droupadi Murmu at Rashtrapati Bhawan. Navdeep shared his immense joy at being honored by President Murmu.

The last medal awarded to India at the Paris Paralympics was truly memorable. In a thrilling conclusion, Navdeep Singh’s silver medal was elevated to gold following the disqualification of the original winner, Sadegh Beit Sayah from the Islamic Republic of Iran. Singh had originally secured second place with an impressive personal-best throw of 47.32m.
