A passenger, Asifullah Ansari, was found dead on Air India flight AI2845 upon its arrival in Lucknow from Delhi today.
Heathrow Airport in London will be closed for at least 24 hours due to a fire at a nearby electrical substation, resulting in a power outage.
Upon landing at Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport in Lucknow around 8 am, the flight crew attempted to revive a passenger but were unsuccessful in eliciting any response.
According to a report by India Today, doctors on board assessed the situation and pronounced the passenger deceased.
The precise cause of death will be determined following the release of the postmortem report. Meanwhile, a spokesperson for Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport stated, “A male passenger, who was in poor health, arrived from Delhi at our airport today. He received first aid before being taken to the hospital via an Advanced Life Support ambulance. Unfortunately, the passenger later succumbed at the hospital.”
