Prime Minister Narendra Modi is poised to inaugurate “ Mission Mausam,” which aspires to transfigure the nation into a “rainfall-prepared” and “ climate-intelligent ” country, in Delhi on Tuesday in confluence with the fests commemorating the 150th anniversary of the India Meteorological Department( IMD).
The Prime Minister will unveil the IMD Vision- 2047 document about rainfall adaptability and adaption to climate change, as indicated by the Prime Minister’s Office( PMO).
In honor of the IMD’s 150th anniversary, numerous events, conditioning, and shops have been organized to punctuate its accomplishments, its donation towards making India climate-flexible, and to illustrate the part played by governmental institutions in delivering colorful rainfall and climate services.
