AAP leader Atishi has resigned as Delhi Chief Minister after the party’s electoral loss

Published:

Atishi, who retained her seat in Kalkaji, submitted her resignation to Lieutenant Governor V K Saxena following the BJP’s significant victory in the Delhi Assembly elections.

The BJP won 48 out of 70 seats, a major increase from 8 in 2020, while the Aam Aadmi Party’s representation fell from 62 to 40 seats, and Congress did not win any.
