Union Health Minister and BJP National President Jagat Prakash Nadda is visiting Odisha today for a key health initiative in Puri. He will arrive at Biju Patnaik International Airport in Bhubaneswar at 7:55 pm and then head to Puri, where he will stay overnight ahead of the National Health Summit at 10:00 am.
His schedule includes a visit to the Jagannath Temple at 2:00 pm, after which he will return to Bhubaneswar for a brief stay at the State Guest House before departing for Delhi. A highlight of his visit will be the unveiling of the 16th Common Review Mission report, which evaluates the National Health Mission’s progress.
Nadda’s visit is significant as Odisha has made notable advancements in healthcare. This marks his second trip to the state in recent months, following a visit on September 26 of last year. Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi and Health Minister Mukesh Mahaling are expected to attend the summit, which will address key healthcare challenges and strategies for improving health services in the state.
