The film Happy New Year centers around Shalimar, while Jewel Thief focuses on The Red Sun. A notable distinction is that Saif engages in price negotiations for The Red Sun with Jaideep. The initial asking price is set at Rs. 500 crore, and this negotiation stands out as one of the key moments in the teaser.
The film presents Jaideep Ahlawat in a unique role as the main antagonist, a portrayal that audiences have not encountered before. This project represents his inaugural partnership with Saif Ali Khan, although he has previously appeared alongside Saif’s wife, Kareena Kapoor, in the Netflix series Jaane Jaan. Jaideep is presently enjoying the acclaim from his recent web series, Paatal Lok Season 2.
