Neeraj Chopra, the iconic javelin thrower and two-time Olympic medallist, is now married. The recent union of Neeraj Chopra and Himani Mor, a gifted Haryana lawn tennis player.
“Starting new chapter of life with my family. Grateful for every blessing that brought us to this moment together. Bound by love, happily ever after,”-Neeraj disclosed the identity of his life partner on Instagram by captioning the post and sharing several images. According to the athlete’s uncle, Neeraj’s wife, Himani, is presently a student in the United States. The couple married in an intimate ceremony in front of close friends and family.
Neeraj’s uncle has also verified that a reception party will be held in celebration of the marriage.
On the professional side, Neeraj is set to introduce a Continental Tour Javelin-Only competition in the country. This forthcoming event has received endorsement from both World Athletics and the Athletics Federation of India. The specific date for the event has not yet been confirmed, although reports suggest it may take place in May of this year. The event is expected to feature prominent male and female javelin throwers, including India’s celebrated athlete, Neeraj.
